The Dumpa 410 is a new, lightweight Rigid Dump truck suitable for those hauling jobs that
require a compact size and a light imprint on the ground. The Dumpa410/2 has a lightweight,
narrow chassis which allows the fitting of wide flotation tyres and yet still retains a transport width
under 2.9 metres.
The Dumpa410 will be a particularly attractive choice for those operators engaged in landscaping and reinstatement operations who will find that the minimal imprint created by the Dumpa410/2 will minimise ground work and levelling.
The Dumpa410 prime mover has a rigid chassis with two drive axles.The pivoting front steering axle has 33 degree lock angle and makes the unit far more manoeuvrable than a tractor / trailer combination.The rigid rear axle allows sufficient clearance for 800mm wide rear tyres to be fitted. The unit has been designed with a long wheelbase and minimal overhang for the best off road ability together with a superior ride during transport.
The 112 hp Perkins 1000 series turbocharged diesel engine drives through a new 5 speed ITL powershift transmission.. Site and road operation is easy with gears being selected by a dash mounted twistgrip control.A wide range of speeds are available for field and road operation up to over 30 kph.
The Heavy Duty ITL drive axles feature dual circuit, power assisted, oil immersed disc brakes for maximum safety on site and on the road. Axles are capable of handling the largest flotation wheels without overloading.
The two man cabin with ROPS and FOPS protection features a front opening door and a full length instrument and control console. All operating controls are grouped to allow easy operation. Hydraulic controls are at the drivers right hand.
