The Chavtrac 410. is a light-weight, heavy-duty load carrying prime mover suitable for a variety of on and off road applications in agriculture, forestry,and construction. So many applications in these industries involve the carrying of bulky and heavy loads. The Chavtrac410 carries its payload within the wheelbase and is thus more stable and lighter than conventional tractors which have trailed or mounted loads.
The power unit weighs well under 4 tonnes and is capable of a payload up to 10 tonnes. The rigid chassis is rugged and yet slender enough to allow full steering lock even when fitted with large diameter flotation tyres.Front and rear axles are fully suspended and are fitted with dual circuit oil immersed disc brakes for maximum safety. 4 wheel steering is standard.
The Chavtrac410 is powered by the advanced Perkins 1000 series turbocharged engine producing 110 hp.Power is transmitted via a dual range plus powershift transmission giving 8 speeds forward and reverse. 4 speeds forward and reverse are available in either field range up to 16 kph and transport range to nearly 40 kph.
The two man cab features a front opening door for easy access with side folding spraybooms and a full length side console contains all vehicle and implement controls.The cab tilts forward for easy service access using a built in hand pump.
The cab featues a powerfull airconditioning and heating system with full pressurisation and filtration available as an option for cropspraying applications.The cab structure is designed to protect the operator in the event of a rollover accidentand a seat belt is fitted as standard equipment.
The standard monitor system consists of Raven Controllers giving readouts of speed, and area covered. The Chavtrac410 is fully compatible with data downloading and GPS crop management systems
