features new microprocessor controlled gearbox for automatic
changes, higher transport speed and fail safe operation……..
The Tanka 410/2 is a new vehicle specifically developed
for the slurry disposal market and as such will be attractive
to farmers, Agricultural Contractors, and waste disposal operators.
The unit is compact, easy to drive and service and is designed
to transport over 1600 gallons of slurry over soft ground without
soil or crop damage.The new Chavtrac 410/2 Tractor unit has been
developed from our successful range of power units to be a configuration
especially suited to the needs of the waste disposal industry.
New features for 1997 include the following:
- A new operator cabin tested for compliance with
worldwide ROPS and FOPS regulations.
- New pivot suspension for reduced roll stiffness
and superior traction on rough ground.
- A simplified drive train with integral transfer
box and automatic 4WD engagement.
- A new ITL Transmission with overdrive top gear
for speedy transport between jobs.
- Automatic gear selection with microprocessor
control.
- An uprated version of the proven Perkins 1004T
engine gives 112Hp at 2600 rpm.
- New tyre equipment for reduced ground pressure.
The Tanka 410/2 is fitted with 800 mm wide Trelleborg flotation
tyres for optimum performance on wet and soft ground.
- Narrow Transport width through use of narrow
chassis design minimises overall width allowing easy access through
narrow gateways
- A new Low Profile Slurry tank with 3 alternative
filling points gives improved stability.
- New, Wider mudguards cover the flotation tyres.
Options include:
Air-conditioning, Linkage for Injector, Tramspreader attachment for treating up to 24m tramlines, Hydraulically operated filling arm, Hydraulic operated compressor valve.
