Simplicity in the Cab and in the Office
In order for a field recording system to be successful, the rewards have to be worth the effort for all parties. Earlier systems may have been beneficial for the business management end of the business, by minimising the need for keyboard entry work in the office, but if the system makes life harder and more laborious for the tractor driver, then it is unlikely to succeed. Our aim with BlackBox Basic recording is to reduce data entry in the cab to an absolute minimum and still produce valuable records for the business.
Automatic Field recognition
A key element of this automation is the ability to setup BlackBox to recognise previously surveyed and named farms and fields. Simply name each field and farm on your first visit and BlackBox will remember the location and in future allocate work done to that field, enterprise or customer. If you dont need to name specific fields specifically then BlackBox will automatically generate unique indentity for each job. Designed to meet the needs of Farmers and contractors, this feature allows you to generate work records automatically with the minimum of operator effort.
